Sometimes I wonder why I blog anymore. So much good stuff being written. Take this kefir article by Chris Kresser: Kefir - The Not Quite Paleo Superfood. After years of enjoying Kefir, we stopped when we started the Whole 30. Colson reintroduced kefir last October and has been enjoying it since. Now I think Ryan and I will too. We won’t go back to our daily smoothie, but a couple times a week will mix things up, provided our bodies don’t flip out on us – I think we will be fine.
Next up – Salt. The Celtic and Himalayan are on tremendously on sale: San Francisco Salt Company.
Finally, I tripped on this blog regarding food cost. I don’t agree with all the food ingredients (they are much, much better than how most people eat, though), but Karen DeCoster does a great job breaking down cost and showing that real food is affordable: Real Food Costs Too Much Myth.
I have argued that my family hasn’t experienced a significant increase in food costs because we buy primarily from farmers. A few years ago I tracked that. I will have to do so again and compare the numbers.
That’s it for today. Have a great week!
Thanks for the tip! We bought some celtic sea salt and it arrived CRAZY fast.
