Wow! You work fast. I am so excited to read your blog. No matter how far along on the journey to a healthy lifestyle, we continue to need encouragement and helpful tools and tips from one another. I am subscribing today!

PS Thanks for mentioning my book! That was a pleasant surprise. Also, I LOVE Kingsolver's book. I think you couldn't have put 2 better books together. One to learn how to avoid the bad stuff in food and products and the other to learn about the importance of local family farms. Lots of healthy eating will follow!

I wish you good health on your journey to improved wellness!

    Love your blog, Laura!!
Rob and I love our CSA ... it's been amazing and feels so good to have locally grown fresh food. I really appreciate the goal and vision of your blog and look forward to reading it regularly! Hugs to everyone in the Combs' family xo.

Hi, my sister-in-law referred me to your site (she just met you at the playground this past week)! Do you happen to know where one could get raw milk in NC? I live in the triangle area too.

    Thanks,
    Andrea

    Finding Farmers

    • Local Harvest
You can find local farmers, farmers markets, and community supported agriculture farms (CSAs) in your area through this website. An interactive map is displayed. Click on your state or region, and continue to click on the map to zoom into the area where you live.

    Healers

    • Oriental Health Solutions
The practitioners at Oriental Health Solutions (OHS) have helped my family and many of my friends and acquaintances when no one else could. All of us tried conventional western medicine first and ultimately ended up at OHS for our solutions.

    Organizations

    • westonapricefoundation.org
The Weston A. Price Foundation disseminates the research of nutrition pioneer Dr. Weston Price, whose studies of isolated non-industrialized peoples established the parameters of human health and determined the optimum characteristics of human diets. Dr. Price's research demonstrated that humans achieve perfect physical form and perfect health generation after generation only when they consume nutrient-dense whole foods and the vital fat-soluble activators found exclusively in animal fats.
