A friend asked me about the arsenic content of rice recently, but I hadn't had time to look into it. My friend Shannan came to the rescue and sent me these links today (sorry they are unformatted, but the computer from which I am writing is not well equipped). Because this computer is so dysfunctional, I am going to stop typing, other than to say that I am glad that my family is eating white rice from the Himalayas, and who would have thought that China has the best arsenic controls.
