This is a quick update to yesterday’s post: $#^% and Great Oriental Doc Visit.
First, my hunger did not abate. I ate and ate and ate up until 9:00 last night. My body just craved meat, which surprised me because I eat a lot of meat and I don’t skip meals.
I didn’t sleep well at all. I forgot to do the moxabustion on the sleep points on my heels, so I will try that today.
I started the day hungry and sluggish. After doing half a workout, I ate breakfast and went to the Farmers Market. An hour and a half later, I was hungry again and ate lunch. I ate a lot! Finally I am full.
Regarding my workout, I determined that I can continue with my routine and grow it, I just need to rest between exercises so that my heart rate doesn’t go above 135, pushing me into anaerobic activity.
Ryan and Colson have left for the Genghis Khan exhibit, leaving me with a few hours of free time. I think I am going to lay on the couch and watch a movie. I haven’t done that in almost 20 years. I am going to ignore the sauerkraut and water kefir that need to be made, I am not going to begin to create a five week course on Pythagoras for third graders, I am not going to create the class on generosity that Ryan and I have to teach tomorrow, and I am not going to mentor my teens who are working on environmental issues. I am going to lie down, watch a movie, and hopefully fall asleep. And it is going to be a chick flick.
