Any special brand, or just whatever I find at the healthfood store?
And is it specific to plantar, or works on all warts?

Hi Anne. I use Aura Cacia clove oil. I imagine that other brands would work as well. I am not sure how it will work on other warts. If you try, please let me know how it goes if you think of it.
Thank you for reading!

Hi. Just wondering how much time did it take the clove oil to work? I don't see much after 3 days but feel a hard knot when I put my toe on the floor. I was told around 4 days.
Thanks

Thank you for reading, TX Hopeful. I probably went a week applying the clove oil. Perhpas I overdid it. I notice that I wrote the post in August 2010. I can say that the wart is gone, but what is surprising to me is how long it takes for the raised, hard area to even out. Five months after treating it, the raised area is about gone. One person suggested using a razor to peel the skin away when treating it, but I am too much of a chicken. Perhaps if I did that the raised area would have been gone months ago.
Good luck!

If your Going to use a razor to 'peel' some skin off put a little clove oil on the area first as clove oil has natural analgaesic and antiseptic properties. Dentists used to use it
