What a
couple of weeks it has been. I have been jamming on environmental project
related to the endangered Florida panther, which has taken up much time and
prevented blogging. I love the environmental planning I have done for the past
20 years and it is still so rewarding to be involved.
Ryan and I did our first couple’s food counseling to help the couples find their unique common food path. It was phenomenal. Very wonderful and
motivated couple. Today was their two week follow-up, and they are in their food
healing journey deep! Ryan and I are very excited for them, and hopefully they
are very, very proud of themselves. They have experienced incredible
improvements in just two weeks. Hopefully, there will be a blog entry from them
waiting for me to post when I get back.
Add
homeschooling my son to the mix, and I am swamped. He is one busy kid!
All that to
say that there has been little time to blog, and next week is going to be quiet
too, as we are going to Florida to celebrate Colson’s 7th birthday
along with my Dad’s birthday. They were born one day apart, so birthdays
together are a must whenever we can swing it. It will be a wonderful trip... and
I am coming loaded with my raw milk, kefir grains, raw cheese, soaked and
dehydrated almonds, fermented rye bread and more.
Needless to
say, with being on the road, I will likely not blog next week either. If anyone
has suggestions for blog posts, please feel free to email them to me at movingstronglyforward@yahoo.com.
I will be back at work in a week.
Finally,
here is a GAPS/Ryan detox update. The detox for him continues. His underarms
are in full detox again…angry, purple and hurting. The dots on his belly are beginning
to heal, but they have moved to his arms and a bit on his back. I have some
body odor, which is how I seem to detox. Usually, I am odor-free. We did cheat
and eat pizza this week, and we were bloated and I felt pretty awful. Pizza and
detox do not go together!
Have a
wonderful week, everyone!
