We just got back from a trip and had to think about food to bring while traveling.
Airplanes no longer serve meals (besides who'd want to eat them.)
We brought hard boiled eggs, raw cheese and sourdough bread, crispy nuts, carrots, hummus and clementines. My youngest son loves PBJ which I made using just ground nuts, jelly (with no suger or corn syrup) and sourdough bread.
The raw cheese blocks and crispy nuts lasted awhile. But unfortunately after that supply the meals went downhill. I made hardboiled eggs from regular store bought eggs and my boys would not eat them as they said they tasted terrible.
We survived but got right back on nourishing foods when we got home!

Also, I brought oatmeal for breakfast and soaked it overnight per Sally's recipe.
