The Wall Street Journal reported yesterday that employee health
care costs for 2010 are expected to rise by up to 10 percent, with salaries
expected to increase by only 1.8%. Increased premiums, co-pays and deductibles will
all contribute. Study: Health-Care Rates to Rise.
What can many people do about it? Here is my latest
slogan: “Eat great food, save money and save your life.” If that one doesn’t
work, there is always this one: “Every bite you eat determines how you will
live and how you will die.”
Regardless of your motivation, if you eat healing,
nourishing foods as described in this blog and the books that I recommend, people
will be healthier and will likely decrease doctor visits and the consumption of
prescription drugs, thus saving money.
People have to eat, so why not “Eat to live instead of
eating to be physically and financially broke?”
