We have completed day three of the rice food challenge
with no adverse reactions. This has been a very interesting process. On day 1,
we were excited to be having rice (Colson was thrilled), even though it was
only about 2 fluffy tablespoons (Colson had a little more). That seemed like a
lot. Day 2 we had a little bit more and still enjoyed it. By day 3, we were
over it, and not wanting to move beyond 3 tablespoons. We had rice two times that
day. I am not sure we will even have any rice today. We just don’t want it
(except, perhaps, Colson).
I wonder if this is generally the amount of rice that
is supposed to be consumed – a condiment to the veggies and meat? That is not
the way we used to eat it, but we also used to feel lousy. I am going to have
to think on this some more.
